What is a good song to sing at my sister's wedding?

I'm a teenager that wants to sing a song at my sister's wedding.

She is 23 years old. But, my sister doesn't want the song to be weird. She obviously doesn't want me to embarass her.

I prefer to sing a slow song, but a fast song can be good too.

Thank you!

What is a good song to sing at my sister's wedding?
Graham Colton's... Best Days

i love this song, and i think it would be perfect for a wedding

the lyrics also fit well

"Best Days"

With everything I've ever done

I'd give it all to everyone for one more day

Another night I'm waking through

Anther door I walk intro

I can't break

It's a winding road

It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late

Cuz these are the best days

There's always something tomorrow

So I say let's make the best of tonight

Here comes the rest of our lives

I count the steps the distance to

The time when it was me and you is so far gone

Another face another friend

Another place another end but I'll hang on

It's a winding road

It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late

Cuz these are the best days

There's always something tomorrow

So I say let's make the best of tonight

Yeah let's make the best of tonight

Here comes the rest of our lives

It's a winding road

It's a long way home

So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late

Cuz these are the best days

There's always something tomorrow

So I say let's make the best of it

So don't wait cuz no-one can tell you it's too late

Cuz these are the best days

There's always something tomorrow

So I say let's make the best of tonight

Yeah let's make the best of tonight

We'll make the best of tonight

Here comes the rest of our lives

"Angel Of Mine"

by Monica

When I first saw you I already knew

There was something inside of you

Something I thought that I would never find

Angel of mine

I look at you, lookin' at me

Now I know why they say the best things are free

I'm gonna love you boy you are so fine

Angel of Mine

How you changed my world you'll never know

I'm different now, you helped me grow

You came into my life sent from above

When I lost all hope you showed me love

I'm checkin' for ya boy you're right on time

Angel of Mine

Nothing means more to me than what we share

No one in this whole world can ever compare

Last night the way you moved is still on my mind

Angel of Mine

What you mean to me you'll never know

Deep inside I need to show

You came into my life sent from above (Sent from above)

When I lost all hope, you showed me love (Boy you showed me love)

I'm checkin' for ya, boy you're right on time (Right on Time)

Angel of Mine (Angel of mine)

I never knew I could feel each moment

As if it were new,

Every breath that I take, the love that we make

I only share it with you (you, you, you, you)

When I first saw you I already knew

There was something inside of you

Something I thought that I would never find

Angel of Mine

You came into my life sent from above (Came into my life, yeah yeah yeah)

When I lost all hope you showed me love (Boy You showed me love, uh huh)

I'm checkin' for ya, boy you're right on time (But boy your right on time)

Angel of Mine (Angel of mine, oh mine)

How you changed my world you'll never know

I'm different now, you helped me grow

I look at you lookin' at me

Now I know why they say the best things are free

I'm checkin' for ya, boy you're right on time

Angel of Mine

Its a good contemporary song (but not too contemporary so you know it won't be outdated someday) that is also romantic. We had our singer change some of the lyrics where it says boy and whatnot to yeah or baby or something like that so it works for both the man and the woman. The guests loved it, and I'm sure you sister will too!
Reply:it really depends on where you will be singing -- at the ceremony or the reception. there is one that's rather "old school" it is the theme song from the Land Before TIme by Diana Ross. at my cousin's (her husband is a MArine) I samg - Somehwere out There. I've sang Annie's Song by John Denver, Always by Atlantic Starr, The Wedding Song, If, Sunrise Sunset, Ave Maria..... it really depends on the couple AND where you will be singing.

Don't lose your way

With each passing day

You've come so far

Don't throw it away

Live believing

Dreams are for weaving

Wonders are waiting to start

Live your story

Faith, hope %26amp; glory

Hold to the truth in your heart

If we hold on together

I know our dreams will never die

Dreams see us through to forever

Where clouds roll by

For you and I

Souls in the wind

Must learn how to bend

Seek out a star

Hold on to the end

Valley, mountain

There is a fountain

Washes our tears all away

Words are swaying

Someone is praying

Please let us come home to stay

If we hold on together

I know our dreams will never die

Dreams see us through to forever

Where clouds roll by

For you and I

When we are out there in the dark

We'll dream about the sun

In the dark we'll feel the light

Warm our hearts, everyone

If we hold on together

I know our dreams will never die

Dreams see us through to forever

As high as souls can fly

The clouds roll by

For you and I
Reply:It depends on what kind of church or place she is getting married in. If it is a church I would see if they could recomend anything and if you pick a song not from their list you usually need to get it approved by the church to sing it. Hope this helps a bit.
