What's a good song to march down the aisle of a wedding?

I hate the traditional wedding march song... I need something w/o words to march down the aisle to. HELP!

What's a good song to march down the aisle of a wedding?
Another One Bite The Dust :)
Reply:I was going to suggest Canon in D, but it's been mentioned.

How about Ode to Joy?

Or you could purchase a wedding song book; there are several nice traditional tunes in those.

My son, in keeping with the Scottish theme for his wedding, used "Highland Cathedral" and it was beautiful.
Reply:all i want is you...by u2 just take the words out.
Reply:Preferably a song that's relevant to you and one you like.

More than likely any song suggested here is not going to make sense, or is horribly cliche and beaten to death.

Pachebel's Canon in D is a perfect example.

Reply:Canon in D, it's so beautiful.

haha i also dislike the tradition wedding march, did you know it actually came from a song played for a funeral? o.O

So, canon in D all the way, well, at least i'd want that at my own wedding in the future =]
Reply:%26lt;%26gt;If you're patriotic and marching, how about the Marine Hymn? lol.
Reply:I walked to Canon In D ....Its an awesome sond to walk too.. Good luck!!!
Reply:A friend of mine walked down the aisle to the music only to Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I am thinking of walking down the aisle to the same song.
Reply:"I've finally found someone" by Barbara Streisand and Brian Adams.
Reply:White Wedding by Billy Idol.
Reply:White Wedding---Billy Idol
Reply:I forgot the singer's name but this theme song from the Hollywood movie "The Other Sister" is entitled "AT LAST"

(lyrics: at last

my love has come along

my lonely days are over

and life is like a song

i found the thrill to press my cheek to...)
Reply:The "Trumpet Voluntary" by Purcell, accompanied by the organ.

I believe it was played for most of the royal weddings and it's very touching.
