We just cant seem to find a wedding song...?

We are looking for a song that really captures what we have... I like country... he doesn't know what he likes. Nothing seems to fit the bill. Does anyone have any suggestions about a wedding song that isn't entirely cliche?

What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. It is classic rather than cliché.

Forgot the singer :)
Reply:We used;

Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong

The Promise - Tracey Chapman

and we modified a third originally sung by Bob Dylan and the Pretenders. We changed "Forever Young" to "Forever One"

All were received well with comments about how appropriate and unique they were.

Reply:We are using Tim O'Brien's song "Romance is a Slow Dance". We both like folk country and bluegrass and this song is perfect!

Romance is a slow dance

To a sound as sweet as rain

It's a new song you never heard before

Unfolding to you both the same

It takes time but you can get that step

Because lovin' isn't like a race

Romance is a slow dance

And your feet seem to fall in place

There's no one else out there on the floor

And there's room for every weave and spin

And when the dance is over you ask for just one more

And the band plays your song again

If it's true love you can live on that tune

It'll guide you through your trouble and pain

Because romance is a slow dance

To a sound as sweet as rain
