Reply:Waltz is the standard for the first dance, however "Wonderful Tonight" is NOT a waltz song. Waltz songs are written with time signatures in 3/4. You might want to try a different song (one with 3 beats to the bar) or instead, a different type of dance.

Reply:that's true..a waltz is perfect for a first dance but you can't dance the waltz to this song because of the beat...BUT...this song is PERFECT for a hott rumba! my really good friend actually just performed a rumba routine to this song last week....i personally wouldn't mind doing a rumba as a first dance because it's more intimate and close...good luck!
