What is a really good wedding song to sing in a Catholic church?

My friend's wedding is coming up ... I am trying to think of a really good song to sing during the ceremony ... any ideas?

What is a really good wedding song to sing in a Catholic church?
Hi. Have your friend check with the organist at the church. The organist will be able to help her with selections. I am Catholic, myself, but usually at weddings, the guests do NOT sing. Usually their is an organist or a pianist that simply plays OR there is a soloist or vocalists. Anyway, if your friend does want hymns, here are some:

Here I Am Lord

Hear Us Now, Our God and Father

The Wedding Song - annon.

The Gift of Love - arr. Hopson

The Bridal Prayer -Roger Copeland

All I Ask of You - Weston Priory

I Have Loved You - Joncas

Prayer of St. Francis – Sebastian Temple

Servant Song - McGarill

Set Your Heart on the Higher Gifts - Warner

The Irish Wedding Song - trad.

The Lord is Kind and Merciful - Haugen

Where There Is Love - David Haas

Wherever You Go - Weston Priory

With This Ring - Copeland

Taste and See - Moore

I Have Loved You

Laudate Dominum - Mozart

City of God - Schutte

Joyful, Joyful We Adore You - Hymn, Beethoven

Ode to Joy - Beethoven
Reply:You should speak with the priest before deciding on a song. Most Catholic priests only allow religious music to be played and sung at the ceremony. The priest that officiated at my Catholic wedding a month ago was fairly liberal with music selections and I had a couple of songs sang - Wind Beneath My Wings and The Rose. I don't think The Rose is a religious song, but he allowed it. It was really pretty. We had it sung while we lit the unity candle and did the sign of peace.

With love in Christ.
Reply:You would have to ask their priest what music is allowed. Many churches, especially Catholic, only allow religious music, and even then it must be out of their hymnal, not contemporary religious music.
Reply:If you scroll down through this church's webpage, you will see a list of songs for particular parts of the wedding ceremony and mass. Hope this helps.
Reply:a muslim song
Reply:The obvious choice is Ave Maria.
Reply:I like:

"raise me up"

"on eagles wings"

and

"household of faith"
Reply:Ave Maria
