Hi everyone... I am planning a wedding for May of 2008... I know its still a while away... but i was wondering if you all had any input on a good "first dance" song for my hysband and I ????

It will have to be slow... and hopefully country!

Reply:Rascall Flatts - I melt, George Strait - You had me from hello, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman - When I said I do, Faith Hill - She's In Love With The Boy, Kieth Urban - I wanna Be Your Everything. I hope you find something you like.
Reply:i think your tractors sexy
Reply:Brad Paisley's "She's Everything"

Good luck with the planning! My wedding isn't until next July, but I've already started planning. It'll definitely be helpful later on down the road when you can breathe and not be stressed out at the last minute trying to find vendors, etc.
Reply:hmm..keeper of the stars

when i said i do (i meant that i will)

Reply:Keeper of the Stars is the best, it's actually by Tracy Byrd
Reply:Forever and Ever, Amen

Not too slow, but perfect for a first dance!

Congratulations!
Reply:From This Moment, by Shania Twain. Album: Come On Over
Reply:Well, John Denver was more folk than country, but he did two wonderful songs that would work..."There was Never a Doubt" and "For You". The last one would be my pick. It's beautiful.
Reply:"It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw %26amp; Faith Hill
Reply:From This Moment- Shania Twain

(This is upbeat but still country)- I Love You- Martina McBride

I Need You- LeAnn Rimes

Hope some of these suggestions help!

Happy Marriage!
Reply:"Annie's Song" by John Denver
Reply:Tracy Lawerence "Keeper of the Stars"

That was my wedding/first dance song :)
Reply:i despise country, but i also DJ and have to play it if couples want it. "Amazed" is the country song i'm asked to play most.

i'm a fan of "Wonderful Tonight" by Clapton.

rascal flatts-god blessed the broken road
Reply:I don't know country music very well, so I don't have a song for your first dance. But "Party on the Mountain" by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is really good for a second or third song. It's got lots of rhythm and sounds great! Congrats!
Reply:Like Red On A Rose, by Alan Jackson. It's a song about each other.
Reply:"Could I Have This Dance?" by Anne Murray. Featured in the movie "Urban Cowboy". It was the wedding dance of Debra Winger and John Travolta and is definitely country. Otherwise, I would suggest "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain.
Reply:"I Cross My Heart" by George Strait
Reply:My husband and I danced to My last name by Dierks Bently for our first song. All the others mentioned by others are good also.

Not sure if you have one yet, but Tim Mcgraw's My little girl is a really good daddy daughter song to!
Reply:Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Bird
Reply:When you say nothing at all - Alison Krause

Remember When - Alan Jackson
Reply:amazed by lone star, by brother used that for his wedding
Reply:Ridin dirty {:)
