I will NOT have my father at my wedding. My uncle and grandfather are my "dads" I was wondering if there were any good songs to dance to with each of them that dont speak of fatherhood.
Wedding song for niece and uncle and grandpa and granddaughter?
How about a Disney song, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, or What a Wonderful World? These have to do with childhood, but not specifically with fathers.

Reply:First of all, congratulations. Have you considered the song "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole? There is also a more modern version with his daughter, Natalie Cole, singing it as a duet with her father. It's quite lovely. Good luck.
Reply:Choose a song that's more about you, the bride or one with out much lyrics. Try Once in a Blue Moon, from the soundtrack of Simply Irresistible. It might be too slow though.
