Any ideas for a first wedding dance song?

My FH and I are getting married in less than one month and have still not picked out our wedding song. We have very different tastes, yet we do agree on some of the same criteria. We don't want anything cheesy or too lovey dovey. We also don't want a song that has been played at 75% of weddings, because really how original is that? I'm getting desperate so any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!!

Reply:Your tastes sound pretty similar to my husband and mine... we HATED lovey dovey songs and the traditional ones that everyone has at their wedding - we thought we would choose a rock ballad, but instead we chose 'Stand By Me' by Ben E King... remember the movie Stand By Me? Its a nice throaty, classic but with an upbeat tempo... well we loved it, and we were pretty picky towards the end.

You could do "I'll stand by you" by the pretenders, which is really nice.
