I really want a different song to walk in to at my wedding. I like classical and movie soundtracks etc. Any advice??
Help with civil wedding song ideas please?
James Horners Soundtracks are great - easpecially Braveheart. You can find them on I-tunes.
Reply:Something really different would be "as Long as you're as mine" from wicked, where you and the groom could sing it. Also, "THE STORY" by brandi carlile. "can you feel the love tonight" by elton john, or "my heart will go on" by celine dion
or "we go together' from grease
Reply:How about "You'll Be in My Heart" from the movie Tarzan, written and originally performed by Phil Collins.
Pachobel's Canon is a common one, but there are many versions of this lovely song.
Reply:The instrumental music on the Jurassic Park soundtrack is beautiful...it sounds like the start of a morning, and could be linked to the beginning of a marriage.
If you've got a wacky sense of humor, you can always try the Imperial March from Star Wars :-)
Reply:I dont want to miss a thing by Areosmith in Armegeddon
the best is yet to come. sung by michael andrew in heartbreakers but listen to the tony bennett version first
have I told you lately that I love you. don't know if this was ever in a movie but doesn't get played at weddings often
and try to get the lyrics to somewhere in the night by Scott Bakula, the song he sang in Quantum Leap

Reply:i love the movies soundtract as well that's how i picked the song i am going to use to walk down the aisle to. I chose "this very moment" from the deliver us from eva soundtrack. You would probably like "I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith from the Armegeddon soundtrack, Another good song is "I'll be loving you" from the Baps Soundtrack, Or "I believe and you and me" from the Precher's Wife soundtrack, or "Because you loved me" from Up close and Personal Soundtrack. You can look them up on line and listen to them or you can go to the websit http://weddingsongs.com/ hope you find what you are looking for.
Reply:"Heaven in Your Eyes" by Loverboy from the Top Gun soundtrack or Berlin's "Take My Breath Away"? "Almost Paradise" by Mike Reno and Ann Wilson? "Ever Since the World Began" by Survivor? Air Supply's "Every Woman in the World"?
Reply:Avalon by Bryan ferry ... Classic .. but rarely used for weddings
